lul...

Just came back from Kelana Jaya. Poor my grandfather and grandmother living alone there. My uncles are quite busy with their works. And the best part is, my grandmother's home-made foods are the BEST!. There's nooo one can defeat her in any field or style. Lucky that I live in Bandar Bukit Jalil, which is quite near to their place.

[warning: IT things lies ahead. Flee while you can]

Last tuesday, I've gained two piece of metals called 1GB DDR2 RAM. Currently I have two piece of 512MB DDR2 RAM. My first try was a test, I plugged one piece of the 1GB RAM to one of my empty SDRAM module. I fired my PC and went through Vista with no problem. Suddenly, while browsing the internet.. *poof* I've encountered a BSOD (lol.. it's the Blue Screen Of Death ler), which is quite rare for my sayang to happen. The error tulis that IRQL_LESS_NOT_EQUAL or something like that. Yeah, smells like an IRQ problem!. I reboot the PC, ran Vista and it BSOD'ed me back to the stone age less than 15 minutes running. Finally, being so fed-up with all these BSODs, I fired up my Super Grub Disk and and fired Grub into the reality world. Last time when I installed Vista, I'm too lazy to change to Grub back.. because.. there's 10 peoples living in this house and I don't really trust them all.

Ok back to the story. While on the Grub, I was able to access the wonderful memtest program. Damn, it ran fine in 5 seconds and was full of errors after that. So, rather killing my poor old motherboard with 2 slots filled with 512MB module and another two filled with the 1GB module, I removed both of the 512MB modules and slots both of the 1GB module to the motherboard. Tada! It solves the problem. Instead of greedily having 3GBs of mixed modules, it is fair to load my sayang to these two modules only.

Then comes another problem. My Vista wont load :S. It BSOD'ed slightly after OS booting, or precisely, while loading the kernel and the drivers.

So I kick Vista out from my PC and installed Vista 64-bit into my PC. Well, having heard someone once said to me that 'If you're too glued to Windows XP, try Linux.. or try Vista 64-bit. Both of them will sure invent some IT-centric headaches into your used-to IT world". Actually the main factor I chose Vista 64-bit over BSD or Slackware or Apple is currently I have 2GB of memory. 32-bit computing only allows up to 3.8GB (I think :S), so it's best to adapt to the new technology rather than stick with Windows 95 till the end of Windows Blackcomb beta-testing phase (It would've been soo cool!). Plus my expensive Pentium D is already EMT64, so I have nothing to worry :D.

First impression was, 64-bit is fast!. The first problem I encountered is the missing drivers support. Yeah, this is the largest complains about 64-bit users across the globe: no complete 64-bit driver support. I was left without driver for my WLAN card and my graphic card. and.. each driver costs about 20MB-30MBs of data to be downloaded from the manufacturer's site.

And guess what? My Vista Rating gave my PC a solid 5.0! :). My PC is semi-hardcore now muahahahhaaaa...

muahahahahahaa muahahaha muaaahahahhaaaa~~!!

And, as you can see, the lowest score now is the processor. I'm thinking of upgrading to the quad army by the end of this year.

Ok. End of these IT-junks.

Have you ever encountered a situation where there's a girl tirelessly wants to win your heart by pretending to care about you?. I said NO earlier to her, FYI. Damn.. I kept receiving sms'es and calls from her... which... I didn't reply nor pick up. I felt pity for her, for being so ridiculously dumb just for me. Hey! Lelaki berlambak kat Malaysia ni.. gi main jejauh!.

I just wanted to be single and free from all of these love craps.

I watched this film when I was at Kelana Jaya tadi. Damn sad the ending lo.. Another thing is, IMHO: Jamal Abdillah is 'like-that' ler, being in the same league with the horrible National Treasure actor.

[edit]

Finally! After drooling for some weeks, Yahoo! has finally sent the Yahoo! Developer Network shirt they've said to sponsor the Malaysian BarCamp!. The design was.. okay-la, but I like the eye-catching

MY KUNG FU IS BEST

to the model: Ooops :X Sorry you made into my lame blog xD

Looooking forward for the BarCamp! :D. Salocin.Ten's catchy definition of the camp itself:

A conglomerate casual gathering of enthusiasts in any area or field, coming together to have a friendly chat sharing information on their passions.

enjoy

p/s: Euphoria is an interesting syndrome.
