pathetic

this week screwed up my entire body.

i think its all started on last wednesday, where i found myself in the nick of a zero-moneyness season. i was left with RM1.00-ish in my poor wallet, zero credits in my handphone and 2/10 fuel left in my bike. i am finally left alone in a terrible desperate situation. and i wasnt feel like borrowing money from ppl.

first off, wednesday. i didnt ate for the whole day except for the dinner where the juniors tiba-tibajadi rajin and masak for everyone a nasi goreng. i was like, yay! food at last. luckily lan made his round of nasi goreng too 30 minutes after that, making my tummy stuffed with foods for hibernation.

thursday. same as wednesday, i didnt ate for the whole day except at the night. and again, they kindly masak a round of nasi goreng at night. and yes, at night i have to put up some extra fuel because the assignments coined by indra. this is the first day my body felt kinda weird. my eyes were closed, but i couldnt sleep for like, an hour. i was rolling, rolling, thinking, peek at the reality life abit to find myself havent sleep yet, rolling, etc. at last, i got some sleep but forced to woke up hours after that.

friday, i dont care, i got myself in the SkyMart (the TPM famous convenient store) and bought myself a gardenia chocolate bun worth 70cents (so mahal lately, last one was minus 20cents and i was really happy with the price. i could afford two pieces in one single swoop of RM1 paper note muahaha. nowadays was like, 'damn wheres the 40 cents? i know i got some 40 cents somewhere here.. *checks wallet* wehhh ko ada empat-poh-sen tak?' kind of thing). i got a bun in the early morning and i was happy :D. luckily that day i dont have classes, so for the whole day i slept, solat jumaat, slept, assignments, futsal, yadda yadda (most of the time i slept). i packed my things at night and went home and found myself in a luxurious heaven of foods and drinks. after snatching some foods, then came be best part, i couldnt sleep. so i called my friends here at my home and asked them for a battle of Warhammer: Soulstorm and some other games for a damn 3 hours. luckily i was tired afterwards, so i went to the REM (rapid eye movement) mode in no-time.

saturday morning when i wake up i felt something really really wrong with my body. my tekak was burning, temps were abit quite high, lips were quite swollen, cant concentrate 100%, and sleepish. woke up and went to NHA's place and went together to the BarCamp Malaysia event. i was done, my body was thrashed for the whole 9am till 8pm. i was forced to concentrate throughfully and forced myself NOT to sleep. ah, i think i could get some sleep afterwards but lol no. i went for another 3 hours of grueling match and yes, i had a quick quite urgent port-dickson trip with my friends. wan asked us to teman him to port dickson to send some things there (hey, no drugs, prostitutes or else you could've negatively thinked of. this was another way around). we went there at 3am and arrived back at 5.30am.

sunday i was forced to pop some pills on the early morning, basically two shots of paracetamol and some so-called pain-relieving pills. attended BarCamp Malaysia again. know what, their lunch was a Subway-made gigantic chicken rotisserie and stuffed in vegetables and chickens. i had a hard time eating that because of my mouth. for the whole sunday my overall health was messed up. i went back immediately after the official press group photo, tak tahan ady. even though i slept in the afternoon/evening abit and had a normal sleep at night, this doesnt cure my sleepishness.

until today, i have no idea what caused this disaster. it was like a perfect disaster, pieced very carefully and was triggered without my knowledge of knowing it would happen. currently im at my home, feeling confused and doesnt really have the ability to pack up and go to the hostel.

at least, when fatin was my gf, she would force me to sleep even though i was in a middle of something quite important. she would ask me:

'tgh buat apa?'
tgh buat assignment. yess dear?
'nape x tido lg? *some-romantical-phrase-that-could-put-you-into-sleep* tido la awk'
*2.5 nanoseconds of deep thinking*
OK. done. lets go!

i feel like popping more of the paracetamol.

I have found again, at one point in my life, I screwed everything up.

Which is:
Fun! ..and embarrassing abit.

Today within the grasp of Shariza's dictatorship, she spanked my poor little name in front of everyone in the class. Then came rolling the eyes of everybody, the one which creeps me out. Ah, the thing was last week's. Last week should stay last week la..apebendee la my lovely lecturer ni.

Hehe.. today is 24th of July. So, it means that I have 36 days left to my birthday. The last birthday as a teen. And hey!. the night on that day I will be at Putrajaya, where the world celebrates my birthday with the Malaysia International Fireworks Competition grand finale night.

It's weird.. I haven't received any calls or sms's within this few days. Ah, I feel soo unwanted in this world :x

Yes, messing up doesnt make you a loser. It symbolizes the a person's ineffectiveness, which means that there's alot of empty slots to be filled with. I learn something new, and I don't care what the world think.

And yes, I got another interview tomorrow. Wish me luck!. So far I've encountered 6 interviews in my life:

Percubaan Prefects
So-called Prefects' AJK Tertinggi
Event Coordinator @ DiGi
Moa scholarship (with the secret USSR army)
Customer Service Executive @ Maybank
Sports Analysis

Everything goes wonderfully as planned. For the last four, I was interviewed in English. My English was damn kantoi for the Event Coordinator job, and luckily, it improved over time. I had my best confidence when I was interviewed with the Maybank HR team.

I refused the last job, the sports analysis thingy, because..

I don't know.

Therefore, I lack motivation.
And yesterday Mrs. Indra pointed that I WILL be transforming into an indifferent guy, unless there's someone who could point me the right way.

Yeah, right. I'm okay by default.

Anyone agree?

:S

hectic gila.. went back moa hostel at 7.00pm. today i slept at 3.00am and bangun at 6.00am. have to stay up, got classes, an exam, have to jaga our charity booth for the whole day, met Ms. Shariza again, vandalized the TPM's auditorium; turned it into a mini cinema. balik2 je, masak, rehat2, terus pengsan kejap kat katil, pkl 11 woke up to realize that my tummy needs me to go to the toilet.

Tada! the official notice came out already. I realized this after having my exam tadi. Look how miserable TPM made us hehe..

Lunch at Technology Park Malaysia's TechnoFlex. For the first time within my existence in this college, this is the first time I makan at this place. Usually I didnt makan here, I makan at the mamak near the APIIT in the Enterprise 3.

And this my friend, our sold out chocolate selling charity booth. Our booth became sold out within hours.. Muahahaha..

OK.

Assignments. NOW!

HQ in YouTube

Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 5:57 pm
I just realized that:

If you add &fmt=18 to any Youtube videos, it'll go to its HQ (High-Quality) edition if there's any. It'll load the mp4 movie instead of the default flv movie.

Doesnt differs much except for the new videos.

Euphoria

lul...

Just came back from Kelana Jaya. Poor my grandfather and grandmother living alone there. My uncles are quite busy with their works. And the best part is, my grandmother's home-made foods are the BEST!. There's nooo one can defeat her in any field or style. Lucky that I live in Bandar Bukit Jalil, which is quite near to their place.

[warning: IT things lies ahead. Flee while you can]

Last tuesday, I've gained two piece of metals called 1GB DDR2 RAM. Currently I have two piece of 512MB DDR2 RAM. My first try was a test, I plugged one piece of the 1GB RAM to one of my empty SDRAM module. I fired my PC and went through Vista with no problem. Suddenly, while browsing the internet.. *poof* I've encountered a BSOD (lol.. it's the Blue Screen Of Death ler), which is quite rare for my sayang to happen. The error tulis that IRQL_LESS_NOT_EQUAL or something like that. Yeah, smells like an IRQ problem!. I reboot the PC, ran Vista and it BSOD'ed me back to the stone age less than 15 minutes running. Finally, being so fed-up with all these BSODs, I fired up my Super Grub Disk and and fired Grub into the reality world. Last time when I installed Vista, I'm too lazy to change to Grub back.. because.. there's 10 peoples living in this house and I don't really trust them all.

Ok back to the story. While on the Grub, I was able to access the wonderful memtest program. Damn, it ran fine in 5 seconds and was full of errors after that. So, rather killing my poor old motherboard with 2 slots filled with 512MB module and another two filled with the 1GB module, I removed both of the 512MB modules and slots both of the 1GB module to the motherboard. Tada! It solves the problem. Instead of greedily having 3GBs of mixed modules, it is fair to load my sayang to these two modules only.

Then comes another problem. My Vista wont load :S. It BSOD'ed slightly after OS booting, or precisely, while loading the kernel and the drivers.

So I kick Vista out from my PC and installed Vista 64-bit into my PC. Well, having heard someone once said to me that 'If you're too glued to Windows XP, try Linux.. or try Vista 64-bit. Both of them will sure invent some IT-centric headaches into your used-to IT world". Actually the main factor I chose Vista 64-bit over BSD or Slackware or Apple is currently I have 2GB of memory. 32-bit computing only allows up to 3.8GB (I think :S), so it's best to adapt to the new technology rather than stick with Windows 95 till the end of Windows Blackcomb beta-testing phase (It would've been soo cool!). Plus my expensive Pentium D is already EMT64, so I have nothing to worry :D.

First impression was, 64-bit is fast!. The first problem I encountered is the missing drivers support. Yeah, this is the largest complains about 64-bit users across the globe: no complete 64-bit driver support. I was left without driver for my WLAN card and my graphic card. and.. each driver costs about 20MB-30MBs of data to be downloaded from the manufacturer's site.

And guess what? My Vista Rating gave my PC a solid 5.0! :). My PC is semi-hardcore now muahahahhaaaa...

muahahahahahaa muahahaha muaaahahahhaaaa~~!!

And, as you can see, the lowest score now is the processor. I'm thinking of upgrading to the quad army by the end of this year.

Ok. End of these IT-junks.

Have you ever encountered a situation where there's a girl tirelessly wants to win your heart by pretending to care about you?. I said NO earlier to her, FYI. Damn.. I kept receiving sms'es and calls from her... which... I didn't reply nor pick up. I felt pity for her, for being so ridiculously dumb just for me. Hey! Lelaki berlambak kat Malaysia ni.. gi main jejauh!.

I just wanted to be single and free from all of these love craps.

I watched this film when I was at Kelana Jaya tadi. Damn sad the ending lo.. Another thing is, IMHO: Jamal Abdillah is 'like-that' ler, being in the same league with the horrible National Treasure actor.

[edit]

Finally! After drooling for some weeks, Yahoo! has finally sent the Yahoo! Developer Network shirt they've said to sponsor the Malaysian BarCamp!. The design was.. okay-la, but I like the eye-catching

MY KUNG FU IS BEST

to the model: Ooops :X Sorry you made into my lame blog xD

Looooking forward for the BarCamp! :D. Salocin.Ten's catchy definition of the camp itself:

A conglomerate casual gathering of enthusiasts in any area or field, coming together to have a friendly chat sharing information on their passions.

enjoy

p/s: Euphoria is an interesting syndrome.

Go Anwar GO

Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 4:43 pm
Kudos to DSAI for making excellent points cemented by facts and figures during the debate on the price of oil.

And I strongly believe that many of the right-thinking viewers could decipher that our Information Minister Shabery Cheek was ill-equipped with information regarding the whole issue in contention and resorted to unethical, unprofessional behaviour by using the debate platform to make personal attacks on Anwar.

It seemed as though Shabery Cheek was a pawn of the BN govt. to spearhead a smear campaign on Anwar. Perhaps, his post should be changed to propaganda minister!

Analysing the entire debate, I agree with Anwar's point that the IPP agreements should be reviewed and I also believe that a ‘windfall tax’ should be imposed on the IPPs.

It was also pretty obvious that Shabery did not answer the question on what are the steps taken by the government to improve public transportation in Malaysia, especially in the urban areas but chose to make more personal attacks on DSAI.

Kudos again to DSAI for highlighting the problems of diesel smuggling in the country. It was also very enlightening to hear DSAI suggesting that RM1 billion be taken from the special dividend given by Petronas to the government to subsidise petrol price.

DSAI also made an excellent point on the need for good governance, which is vital for the economy of any country. The mandate given to the government is sacrosanct and in exchange the government must govern with the welfare of the people in mind for every single move that they make.

It is the government's responsibility to ensure that there is low corruption, low wastage and prudent management of the country's multitude of resources.

In another update:

Anwar was arrested today. And from a propaganda newspaper source, it says that:

"Federal CID director Comm Datuk Bakri Zinin said Anwar was supposed to have gone directly to the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters immediately after giving his statement to the ACA in Putrajaya.

"He was arrested as we had reason to believe he was not going to show up," he claimed."

I hate this: he was arrested before the 2.00pm grace time and the uber stupid police says that they arrest him because they think that there's a probability that he wont show up at their KL HQ. Bukannye meletop pon Hq tu kalau dia tak datang, tak sabar tol diorang ni. And yes, what do you think?

All the government, the asshole Shabery Cheek, the police, including this little boy who claims that he was being bitched by a person 30-years older than him, is really a complete idiot.

Yeah, last week, I went to an unplanned vacation with Afiq, Mereng and Wan to Johor, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. Places we went:

- Muar & Tanjung Agas, Johor
- Masjid Al-Azim, Melaka
- A'Famosa Resort, Melaka
- Lubok China, Melaka
- Alor Gajah, Melaka
- Tanjung Tuan, Melaka (hey, it's on Melaka la. Do your history)
- Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan
- Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

and finally

- Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur

We went by Afiq's Myvi because my mom was using the car for a trip to Pahang I think. Here are my comments:

- There is no other stupid name to put on a highway other than 'Lebuh AMJ'.
- I went through 11 roadblocks in total.
- I'm beginning to like MyVi.
- Bandar Muar's road is like Penang. Damn menyusahkan.
- Last month's nostalgia tells me something while I was passing through the traffic light junction near to Raihan's house. Oh wait.. :D (to her: remember? remember? remember?)
- 50% shoplots near the Lubok China was razed for some new development. Very sad. When I was there's the fire was still there.
- A'Famosa WaterWorld is boring. If you've planned to have your break there, pick another place.
- There was one slide at the Water World called 'High Speed'. I went though two rounds of it and didnt die :D (just like my first perception told me)
- Simpang Ampat was really a... simpang empat interchange. Full of cars and lorries. So much boredom.
- Toll from Ayer Keroh till Simpang Ampat costs RM3.70. What the cekik-darahism.
- Tanjung Tuan needs more tourists. MOAR MOAR TOURISTS!!
- I hugged a live tiger xD

And yes, pictures section.

This little elephant made my day. He was like, a happy-go-lucky little beast. Damn he was dancing while greeting the visitors. I wish I could murder this little elephant on my own.

In the other hand, I felt pity for them. After last 2 months tingling around with Zoo Negara and the director, I learnt alot about nature conservation. Yes, this thing made a Zoo Negara a Zoo Negara, a place without animal circus.

At the carnival. I realized that 75% of the dancers are not in their original female form. Menyampah gila.. Teruk tul. Budget lawa je mekap tebal2. Tak takut ke azab Allah?

Another shot from the carnival. Feels like I'm not in Malaysia xD.

Finally :D

Sempadan Daerah Melaka Tengah while on the Lebuh AMK

Where to go? Bandar Melaka or Masjid Tanah?

And.. here are some sots from the Tanjung Tuan (Cape Rachado) visit. I wish I could have a normal camera.. the scenery was soo damn breathtaking :)

And lastly, to cover up the post: the best sunset I had so far (excluding at the Pantai Puteri, it was special)

en route from Port Dickson to Nilai

LOL!

I had four consequtive times of forcing my brain to think of a suitable title for the blog post. fails tragically. four is more than one... which is.. plural, right?

Plural equals to laziness in the long term.

So in the end:

Singularity rocks!

Ok.. back to business. Take a look at this:

And here is the lucky number.. NBV 6082. Wanna know what makes this vehicle so damn special today? It made my first lol for today. The owner is eventually posessing a competent driving license, and its a quite new bike from Negeri Sembilan. I don't know, after years of hard work training yourself on how to drive, is it hard to bite some parking classes?

I think more of these Anjung Hijau residents will share my rants.

Oh yea:
Adirah.

That unbelievable son of a ***** is dating person by person... and i'm just concerned about the statistically individual traits she choose. I know her, and there's a quite big question mark arise from last evening phone call with my friend.

even more lols

Last week, I've registered myself for the Malaysian Barcamp. This is the very FIRST BarCamp made in Malaysia.

So what is BarCamp Malaysia?

Barcamp is a social conference where volunteers generate the contents. There is no actually committee but just a team of ad-hoc volunteers come together and get this event moving. Consider it as Web2.0 style user generated content in real life.

As you might wonder why is it good for an entrepreneur like me to go BarCamp?

Barcamp traditionally is attended by bloggers, techno geeks, creative industries and entrepreneurs.

As these people in barcamp are in the cutting edge of their field, it is a great place to find new networks to partner in your biz, hire talented programmers or just cross polinate to get new ideas.

[according to entrepreneurs.my]

The seats sold out ady, finished in less then one week. 150 seats filled with:

- Students
- Information Officers
- Web Developers
- Manager
- Oracle Database Administrator
- Sysadmin
- System Analysis
- Ideapreneur
- Blogger
- Senior Marketing Exec.
- CEO (not just one)
- CTO
- Cheif Mathematician (YES, even a maths pro)
- Engineering Manager
- Director
- Musician (and YES, a MUSICIAN)
- Linux Engineer
- Bioinformatician
- Consultant
- and lastly, me :D

[according to the registration page. Link: Barcamp Malaysia]

Its on 26th and 27th of July, saturday and sunday. And, there's a word camp there, so I'll be staying overnight with these peoples.. with absolutely no Yaoi stuff.

In other word, today is a very tiring day. I went to class half an hour earlier (which is, NOT odd. lately I like going to class earlier than anybody else). Masuk2 je class, Ms. Shariza point at me. "YOU!". Every sets of eyeballs in the class are with my body at the moment, looking at me like I done something terribly wrong. "You tak buat test one kan?". LOL! xD I terlupa (or precisely, buat-buat lupa) to pergi kelas last week, so I missed the damn test and the 15 marks.

I went through an additional free lecture with her.

And surprisingly the lovely lecturer Encik Hasrul buat perangai last semester dia tu, the lazy to teach us perangai we all know. He didnt make it to the supposedly 3 hours lecture because he 'have something to meddle with'.

I LOL'ed, and I went back for a relaxing 2 1/2 hour of rest. i ended up watching 2 episodes of House, which cost me the 2 hours.

And I can't BELIEVE the college paksa me to take ENG101 in this semester.

lol... I got more things to share, but I have to sleep nao. I have to go to the KLIA's LCCT terminal at 5 in the morning. Yes, 5.00am

And I got the Jacob's Walk of Life this saturday.

4th of July is Sir Hazimin's birthday. Dear bloggie please remind me when the time comes or else that particular someone will probably murder me.

p/s: to that another particular someone: I don't care if I didn't have any girlfriend or not. I'm too handsome to handle one :D

edit: sorry! wrong URL link :S
