Nenggiri Challenge

Nenggiri, Kelantan Rafting 2008.

Lol. I neva planned on this trip actually. It was a "Apa tu? Oraait, Jomm!".

Anyways, our college planned a Nenggiri Rafting Challenge from last year. The plan was too troublesome, consumed alot of budgets just to make it happen, ideas were refurnish day by day, approvals were delayed.. and so on. I wish I could help them.. ahh, sorry. I was a new student after all.

I'm a little confused in the beginning. I don't know where is Nenggiri. I don't know how to raft. And most importantly, I don't know how to SWIM.

So I signed myself onto the activity last minute and spared my precious RM50-ish to make it even better for them. Signed the 'Hold and Release Statement' agreement and handed it over to Kak Ina.

I didn't came for the activity meeting but I came for the last-minute meeting they have just before takeoff. I was briefed on what should I bought here and there... blah blah blah..

And after all, I realized I was the only college newbie to distinguish myself and actually join the activity. Others were seniors.

So it begins...

I was told that the activity was in collaboration with Rakan Muda and Pejabat Belia dan Sukan in the last-minute. They came to our Resource Center (RC for students) later than ever. Trust me, the overall time management for the activity was very, extremely poor. Read on for more evidence. We were supposed to have the registration open as early as 7.00pm and takeoff at 9.00pm, but due to them, we were having our registration at 9.00pm and takeoff at 10.45pm.

OMG.. lupa nak beli lab coat

Nenggiri Survival Kit

Those poor moneys..

Aii.. senyum je Kak Intan

Activity overall briefing

Off we go!!!

And so we went from TPMC to Gua Musang by two bus. One is for Rakan Muda and one for TPMC. Hehe.. I went to the Rakan Muda bus and sat there.. saje je nak berkenal-kenalan.

But anyway, the bus was super **!@#*&@ crazy shit fast. I can't even SLEEP properly in the bus. The bus was like, going super fast, mencelah like mother of shit, langgar every lubang etc, drove fast at steep corners (we was like, *ggaaahh* when the bus was cornering at high speed).

As a result, we reached Gua Musang from Kuala Lumpur in less than 3 hours. That's uber fast, compared to a normal car if you ask me.

And we arrived early in the morning. The Bandar Baru Gua Musang was flooded with sampah and thrash all over the place. Pity those Gua Musang-ers.

Subuh time...

We waited from 3.00am till 9.00am for the bus to come. I never felt myself wasting time this much. Thanks alot bas ekspres!. Memang betul-betul ekspres laa weii..

Clouded with boredom we was

And at last, they came at 8.45am-ish. We was very, very relieved at the moment.

Briefing again.. zzzzz...

"Semua dah ready belum?" "Tengah ready tuan.."

oops.. i have something to do.. to be continued
